Hi everyone back home! I am having a wonderful time here. Look at these photos! These are the terrace gardens in the Hajar mountains. They look like we're in China! It is beautiful here.  This is Ahmed, our guide. He speaks many languages and takes care of everything we need. He has a great sense of humor and knows just about everything and everyewhere we go in Yemen.  We visited this very old mosque in Rada. It was even more beautiful inside! The walls inside had colorful designs on just about every space available and the plaster designs were amazing.  These colorful boats were on the Red Sea. They use them to catch fish and shrimp in large nets. We had a delicious dinner at a small hotel and then listened to local musicians play and we danced all night. Wish you were here... it's great.
