Comments: I was just curious about your recent expedition to the Four Corners area. I take it since you were "in the area" and made no mention of it that you don't buy into the lost egyptian tomb in the grand canyon. I would assume you are familiar with the story of the Kinkaid expedition and the supposed Smithsonian cover-up. Do you have any reasons to assume the story is a complete hoax? I find the whole thing fascinating and was interested in any original thoughts anyone might have on the subject. The only thing on the net is the same recirculated story over and over. Thanks. P.S. I had at one point found (on the net) a story with pictures of someone who attempted to find the tomb (the cave entrance to be more precise) and thought they might have. After spending far too much time on this I am unable to locate the story again.

Comments: Hi- Is the Old Negev alphabet one and the same as "Cannanite" writings? I have heard of wall writings in the u.s that go back many years, are written in this script and translated as a message from "the sons of Cannan, who were washed ashore.." in antiquity. Could it be possible that North and South America were Atlantis of Myth. That terrible destruction occured globally and tradelines were cutoff from the old world to the new? There have been egyptian mummies discovered from the early dynasty that have in their makeup evidence of "cocaine and tobacco" use. Neither cocaine, nor tobacco existed in egypt, so, this is interesting. It is said that plato recieved the story of Atlantis from Criteaus who recieved it from Solon who recieved it from the egyptian priests. is it safe to say that the egyptians had contacts in the americas who were indeed the "atlanteans"? I think that we would probably discover much more intersting things about human history if we migrated to this paradigm instead of tossing away that which does not concur with biblical structure and established anthropological studies. after all, what the heck does "egyptologist" or "tibetologist" really mean? hahahaha. Comments: This is a letter in reaction to the article "DEVIL LIVES" OK, very interesting indeed, and the writer really did a good job of selling it, giving the reader the option of believing or not believing, yet insisting on belief... So, according to the article, there is no God and no devilguy - just aliens who sought earth's gold, and that humans are half monkey, half alien and that the great flood occured because the monkey-aliens kept on doing the "wild thing". And in closure, the devil really was some wussy putz who stole an alien's stuff and didn't get away with it and then got a really bad ass-whoopin'. So, what about millions of religious experiences world wide - good and bad? Can we contribute these to a primal part of our brain which causes us to feel and see i.e. hallucinate? Where did the aliens go? Are angels the aliens? Are ghosts and spirits aliens? Is the Bible just a big book of fairy tales? Is God, Jesus and religion just the church bosses' way to control people and get rich - ultimate power and control? And has the writer of the 'devil lives' article ever heard of the book of Enoch? Your article held some interesting and unique theories, scary as well. But, there are absolutely GIGANTIC holes in it. I suggest, in my humble opinion, that the writer should dig a little deeper, because there is a celestial element out there - non-alien - that can't simply be explained away by stories written on rocks. Manuscripts found in the Topkapi palace in Istanbul(Constantinople) show that "ancient sea kings" sailed over the "seven seas" in ancient times and returned. In a recent story on homosexuality I learned that the scientific community has known for many years that this is caused by a hormonal imbalance dring the first 3-6 weeks of gestation. The bio-chemical for gendered brains is well known and attributed to the hypothalamus. By sending the wrong chemical signals during the early pregnancy, when the brain is forming, it is possible that the hypothalamus forms as one gender while the remaining physique develops normally as another gender. This is equally true for males and females and has held to a constant 17% in the general population.

Why do we still have sexual preference descrimination then? If it is really NOT a matter of choice, but a matter of birth, then why is the hositility and hatred still not being condemned in the pulpits and halls of justice?

I welcome all gay and non-gay men and women to further this exciting research and to make the facts known.

Expedition 2001 - You Can Help!

ViewZone Magazine is read by 1.4 million people every month. Of special interest are our "Expeditions" to diverse cultural and ethnic locations, such as our 1998 "Four Corners Expedition" where we visited the Navajo (Diné) and Hopi Reservations and let the people tell their own story.

In the spring of 2000, Viewzone Magazine again held an expedition to Colorado where we photographed and translated hundreds of old pertoglyphs and determined that these were written in a language and alphabet from the Sinai, some thousands of years before Columbus set foot on North American shores.

In 2001, Viewzone Magazine wishes to continue our expeditionary adventures by visiting another cultural destination. We are seeking suggestions and invitations for our crew of two people to set up camp and record the stories and history of the local people. Our destination could be another Native American tribe or it could be to a remote corner of the world. We will let you, the reader, decide.

The New Zelander told a story which included the findings of eight foot tall skeleton's who had double rows of teeth. Here is an twist to the story. When I was young, I read of the adventurs of Captin Cook. Sailing near the tip of South America, they encoutered a Giant. They sent a boat ashore to pick him up, and he sailed with them all the way to Hawaii. One curiousity about the Giant is recorded in the ships log. "He had a double row of teeth"! I have been looking for a refrence of a giant with a double row of teeth sence I was thirteen years old, I am now fifty one. Just another piece of the puzzel.

Comments: Hello, After reading the article on suppressed archeological discoveries, I thought it might be interesting to point out one reason the "authorities" would want to hide the truth from the people. That is the theory of evolution. It is a theory that doesn't work, and has been proven wrong time and time again. This theory is used to justify certain behaviors of governments and to exercise control over the populace. There is more going on here than most people can see. There is a spiritual war for the truth going on. Consider the find of the 8 foot tall skeletons, along with the discovery of 12 foot tall skeletons with bronze shields found here in the central US many years ago. Don't these tend to support the Bible's record of the Giants mentioned in the Old Testament? The Anakim, Goliath, Og, king of Bashan? Whether you believe in the Bible or not, these archeological discoveries are more evidence against evolution. Much of the so called evidence supporting evolution have been found to be frauds. Comments: Dear sirs, I am a Canadian construction surveyor presently working in the development of the Athabasca oil sands. Most of my career I have worked in gold and diamond mining. I started off doing a lot of prospecting, claim staking, and geophysical surveys for mineral exporation in the Canadian bush. I am telling you this because I can state categorically that the lines that cover the Canadian north are geophysical survey grids. I know, because I have cut hundreds of miles of these lines myself, I have walked hundreds more conducting geophysical surveys, spotting drill holes etc. and I have flown over thousands more. I find it amzing that the bush pilot from Northern Quebec did not state categorically that these are survey lines. He must be a rookie pilot because we prospectors and surveyors are the bread and butter of the bush plane industry. A lot of you city slickers think that mineral deposits can be detected by satellites or air surveys. Think about it, the higher above a signal you are, the less your resolution is. In the end, before you call in the drill rigs, you MUST do ground surveys. That's when you call in a bunch of guys with axes, machetes, and chain saws and start line cutting. also when you stake a claim, how do you think you mark it. By cutting a line around the boundary of course. the same goes for property lines. When a land surveyor surveys somebody's wilderness property he cuts a line around it. Also on a geological note. Your "mysterious cells" in Oklahoma look like pillow lavas to me. Your correspondent's plane was diverted over the Arctic coast because that is where the DEW (Distant Early Warning)line is located. This is a line of radar stations constructed in the 50's and modernized in the 80's to see "over the horizon" and warn of Russian missile attacks coming over the North pole. It might be a restricted area but it's not much of a secret. Sorry to disappoint you, otherwise keep asking questions and watching the signs. Comments: I only read 7 paragraphs of "Third Witness," supposedly a transcript of a hypnosis patient vividly describing the future, before dismissing it as a work of fiction. During his recollection of the future, EP says "...I'm lookin' out and I can see the earthrise..." There is no such thing as an earth rise. The spin and the orbit of the moon are synchronised such that the earth is either ALWAYS visible or NEVER visible. From the moon, the earth can never set or rise. Comments: Further to my earlier letter about the geophysical survey lines across Northern Canada. I continued reading your website and found that you have recieved anonymous letters linking the these lines to submarine communication systems. First of all I would like to say that these letters are anonymous for a reason. These prospectors get bored sometimes sitting out there in the winter nights with nothing to do but smoke hydroponic pot and surf the internet on their employers expensive satellite telephone time. They can't use their names or the mining companies would fire them. There is a good reason why many of these survey lines point directly to either one of the three American VLF stations. (They are located at Cutler, Maine, Annapolis, Maryland, and Seattle, Washigton). Prospectors also make use of these stations. One of the cheapest low-tech electromagnetic surveys you can do is to use a VLF radio tuned to the published frequency of one of these three stations. If you point the antenna in the direction of the station, the signal normally "nulls out" when the antenna is parallel to the ground. If you are walking over an electro-magnetic conductor, such as a swamp or hopefully a buried mineral deposit, the signal will null out when the antenna is pointed straight down. By aligning the survey grid with the "wing lines" pointing to the selected Submarine signal base and the Base line perpindicular, the data is more easily interpreted. It doesn't matter where you are in North America, the signal strength of all three stations is the same. Therefore we select the VLF station according to which station direction is most perpindicular to the "strike" of the local geological formations we are interested in. In other words, if I was in the Yukon, looking at some stuff striking North-South, my best bet would be to do a survey using the Cutler, Maine VLF station as those lines would run East-Southeast. Comments: Excerpt from THIRD WITNESS: The Alan Arthur Winston Hypnotherapy Sessions with Edward Peterson Since the link provided in this story for comments was unavailable, I wanted to direct my comments here for others to respond to. Firstly, I thought the story was interesting and very imaginative; good thought provoking reading. I did; however, have a few observations over some of "Al's" hypnotic renditions of future events, and perhaps this may solicit further study, or comments from other readers. The observation I had, was Al's statement about the multi-generational astroid-ship that was being used to travel to Alpha Centauri. Al states that the astroid was expected to reach it's destination in about 600 or 700 years, which is no small feat. Knowing the following: Light travels at 186,000 miles per second Alpha Centauri is approximately 4.5 light years from Earth A few mathematical calculations reveals the following. Alpha Centauri is approximately 5.86 x (10)13th miles away The astroid would need to travel an average velocity of 1,195 miles per second in order to reach Alpha Centauri in 700 years; this is an approximate equivalent speed that would travel the Earth / Moon distance is just over 3 minutes. To put things in perspective, Earth travels at 18.5 miles/second around our sun, and the moon travels at .567 miles/second around the Earth. I'd be curious about the technology that can propel the astroid's (undisclosed) mass at such a velocity; more so without tearing the astroid apart under the force. Also, Al mentions that the astroid was captured, and then sent on it's way, this presents some interesting navigation problems as the astroid is redirected to Alpha Centauri, then propelled to the velocity required to reach it's destination in the stated time; not to mention the amount of energy required to do this. I would think that any civilization with the means to accomplish these feats, would be have addressed some of the other problems Al's culture was experiencing. Again, I thought the story was entertaining.

Comments: Concerning the stone recently found in Duane's backyard I have received information from an Arkansas couple stating that the overall square shape of the mineralized sandstone is achieved with a hammer and chisel.It has been used for generations in Oklahoma and Arkansas where this stone is found in abundance.This still does not explain the square shape of the interior portions of the "cells" but my informants were positive that the walls were artificial having seen many hilltop walls and inscriptions in the '50's before the lumber companies began to systematically destroy them.They were of the opinion that the Spanish and Aztecs had brought the technique to the area.Certain Maya structures,stelae,walls etc.incorporate natural geodes so there may indeed be a connection with Mexico and Central America.The area in Oklahoma is conspicuously devoid of lava and the formations are all sedimentary from about 600 million years ago,according to University of Texas geologists,who do know a thing or two about hardrock mining.

Alan E. Alford's book "Gods of the New Millenium" suggests that they were in use to keep track of star time, and that this time doesn't necessarily match our Earth year and seasons. Perhaps the purpose of all these monuments was to precisely predict, like a clock, when this 13:30 l.s.t. was going to come about for use in enhanced consciousness. Just a thought. The Bible tells us God created the heavens. What about the Dogon tribe in Mali, West Africa? They talk of a race of amphibious extra-terrestrial's in their oral traditions. These beings were from the Sirius system. These people predicted Sirius B AND the suspected Sirius C. References made to mer-man like people populate myths in Babylonian, Accadian, and Sumerian myths. Even the Egyption goddess Isis was sometimes depicted as a mermaild and linked with the star Sirius. Why should an ancient people who were obviously advanced lack imagination? The story about the star also made me remember a certain author Immanuel Velikosky. Ok, I know that Plato said that it was 9,000 years ago (from his time) and something like 2,500 miles from Egypt. However, what if there had been mistake in the translation that added an extra 0. That would put Atlantis at 900 years ago, and 250 miles from Egypt. If a translation mistake had been made, then Plato (knowing the layout of the Mediterranean) would have placed Atlantis in the Atlantic. After all, Minoan culture was similar to that of Atlantis. Men and women enjoyed equal status, and relative peace. Agriculture was highly developed, as was irrigation. The navy fleet was the most powerful of its time. What does anybody think?

Comments: I will admit that it is possible that a fishing ship from Japan or from Rome might have been blown off course from their routes, but I don't think that the New World had any sustained contact with any other civilization. Why? For one thing...look at the crops...especially in Peru and surrounding area. The early inhabitants domesticated tubers: oca, mashua, and ulluca. Of course, they also had about 600 varieties of potatos. All due to the micro-environments of farming on a mountain. This is not counting the cereal crops: maize and quinua. These are very different from the crops of the Sumer area. They grew wheat, barley, and lentils. In Egypt - emmer wheat and barley. In the Harappan civiliation - cotton/sesame (during floods) and wheat and barely. These crops were completely different than those in South America. Also, the animals were different as well. In South America the llama, alpacoa, and the guinea pigs were found. No large beast of burden lived there, unlike in the Old world. If the New World had been visited extensively...and taught them things...then wouldn't they have accidently carried seeds with them on the ship? They would have had to have brought food or animals so they could eat. Evidence would have been found if this had been the case. I may be wrong, please correct me if I am. I just want to learn. Atolantl, Atulant;, or Atlantl means "Inhabitant of the place beside the water." Atolantico; Atulantico, or Atlantico would mean "Nation beside the water." Other than that, I have no wish or desire to challenge the present views that Atlantis was Thera, Santorina, Crete, Indonesia, etc. I don't know what place Plato really had in mind. Comments: May 5, 2001. Today, a friend of mine wrote me that about 4 years ago, he tried to see the Decalogue Stone at Los Lunas, New Mexico. The Decalogue Stone is an immense boulder with the ten commandments etched on it in ancient Hebraic or Aramaic alphabet, with a few Greek letters thrown in. He said that the Indians in the area fenced it in, to protect it from an industrial waste site being built around it. The now deceased archeologist Cyrus Gordon insisted that it is authentic. The Indians living in the area concurred with him. Also nearby is a stone altar with the word Yahveh etched on it as well as the ruins of a building that could have been an old Hebrew or Aramaic fort. After reading what Dr. John Geiger told me about this desecration of an ancient pre-Colombian, non-indigenous archeological site, I fell into a state of shock. The time for action has come. We must now start insisting, as loudly as possible, that all suspected and authenticated pre-Colombian non-indigenous archeological sites be protected and respected, just as we are required to treat Amerindian sites respectfully. And we must use a little muscle and outcry about this. If any readers and lovers of archeology agree with me, they should all start writing letters to their congressmen, or to whomever, to get some action. If is possible that the Decalogue Stone may have to be moved to another area, as well as the altar stone and other old ruins near the Decalogue stone, and protected for the generations to come. What Mr. Campbell has photographed is a typical weathering pattern in jointed granitic rocks which have abundant iron in the form of magnetite and/or hematite. As the rock weathers the iron is oxidized and mobilized by the ground water. During the dry periods of the year, the iron is precipitated as iron oxides in the joints of the rock. The joint patterns are commonly rectangular due to cooling of the rock following emplacement. Circular patterns of weathering and oxidization are also a common occurance in nature. Grooves in the rock are commonly striations caused by glaciation which also planes the rock surface smooth. Subsequent techtonic movement of the ground will often turn the striated surface on end and make it appear as a wall. Comments: During the seventies I distinctly remember reading an article about the third eye which stated that a third eye was always present in the earliest stages of fetal development but did not continue to develop and would be shriveled and unnoticable long before birth, while the two normal eyes would continue to develop. I have never found that article again nor have I found any information to substantiate such a claim. Does anyone have any information that will clarify this mystery that has niggled at my mind for years?

This stele which is dated as having been made in the 6th century B.C., is now in the National Museum in Athens, Greece.

Comments: The so called "Mystery Photo" is simply an aerial photo of seismic lines created by oil and gas exploration companies in search of oil and gas deposits. These lines are visible from the air in much of the forested areas of northwestern Canada and there is no mystery about them whatsoever. The lines are created by the hand felling of trees along compass azimuths and are used to transport seismic equipment into position to test with sonar like instruments for oil and gas deposits. If a deposit is found, then a wellsite may be cleared and established. Judging by President Bush's commitment to invest in this type of research and development in northern Canada, we are going to see many more of these "mystery lines" created in the near future.

Comments: Discovered your site today and would like to make a few comments. i have spent the last 19 years researching and documenting ancient Egyptian,Semitic and South American artifacts found in Australia and how they link with both Ancient America and the middle east.Unfortunately since going public many people have jumped on the bandwagon and make unsubstansiated claims about wonderfull ancient sites, photos do not seem forthcoming and as usual such claimants cry government cover-up ,robberies of evidance etc. when in fact there was nothing to show,with this sort of carry on it is no wonder that archaeologists will not look at what might be the genuine article. there are of course many of these found over long periods of time....not by the boys own adventure types but by ordinary people going about their business.there is also much plagurism of other peoples research, and individuals giving themselves fancy titles. The internet has given credence to too many people who would have no merit any where else. Now while I cool down having vented my spleen, I would like to digress to.....the Devil....or Satan.Satan first appears in the Bible in the book of Job...considered the oldest book in the Bible....satan means adversary not a horned monster...Satan was invented by a mistranslation and has tormented the Christians for almost 2 millenia...the joke is on us. now back to artifacts....I have just completed a manuscript that links Moses and the Israelites to Australia and South America based on the artifacts found in Australia. these include Pre-Inca stone terraces in Queensland and an ape statue carved in the unique style of the La Tolita of Equador.We also have ancient Canaanite pottery sherds, 2 Egyptian scarabs with the names of an unknown Egyptian Pharoah and a 92lb rock with a sun-serpent symbol, also used by the La Tolita although the symbols seem to be a more primitive version of Viracocha the white bearded Sun god of the Andes. This rock also has links with Hopi prophecy and The True White Brother. The rock was taken to third Mesa on Dec.23rd 1983. The late Grandfather David Monyonga examined the rock and said this is what he had been waiting for, we must tell the world that Hopi prophecy is coming true. The rock was left so it could be taken into the kiva for the other priests to examine. This did not happen because it was hidden by a member of the Coyote clan. Hopi prophecy also states that when the symbol of the sun, signalling the return of The True White Brother the Hopi would be betrayed by a member of the Coyote clan....true ..true...true. The rock was left in the U.S. in the hope that the rock would once again go to the Hopi. I will be in the U.S. at the end of July and bringing the rock back to Australia. If anyone has contacts with the Hopi please let me know. The True White Brother was Moses...sounds incredible? i would think the same if I had not spent almost 2 decades researching. The true white brother and his return is linked to the Second coming of Jesus....same thing...same person....same reception....no one wants Him.....many thanks...marilyn
