Viewzone: Thanks for this excellent exposure of something that I have seen mentioned from time to time, but never explained. I think you are doing a service to mankind by putting this and similar projects out to public discussion.
Greetings from a reader in Sweden,
Viewzone: I am shocked and terrorized. All this technology is getting way out of hand. Let's hope the human fulfillment of HAARP's developments will prevail in the future or else we're all become unaware guinea-pigs... Once again, I am very, very scared. JFB
Viewzone: I am familiar with the brain effects of low frequencies and was surprised to see that there was really any controversy about it. It is simply harmful - period. Film is shown at 15 frames per second because it does not flicker at this speed. At 14 frames per second it does. Also, vibrations at 14 clicks per second sounds like a machine gun, but at i5 clicks per second the human brain interprets it as a tone. That is because the frequency of our brain waves, inside our cranium, is 15 cycles per second. Animals, like insect-eating bats, which need to hear the rapid clicks at high frequencies to find their prey, have smaller craniums and hence shorter brain wavelengths than their cousins, who eat fruit. Thus the insect eaters will hear more clicks per second, as distinct clicks, than the fruit eaters, who will hear a tone. Anyway, human brains are VERY sensitive to 15 cycles per second and can be disturbed easily by this type of electromagnetic energy. Thanks for making people aware of this. Henry G.
Viewzone, I read with great dismay your article on the HAARP. I live in Minnesota and have been curious about the mutations in frogs and tadpoles in my state. The water has been checked and the air has been sampled but no one has ever discussed the radiation from our neighboring states, Michigan and Wisconsin. I will write to my congressional representatives and ask that this be investigated. Thanks for your good work. Mrs. Ethel Ramson, RN
Viewzone: Here is some more data for you. Years before he became House Speaker, Newt Gingrich wrote the foreword to an official U.S. Air Force book that described how electromagnetic weapons can be used to subjugate U.S. citizens who oppose the policies of the Federal government. The publication, titled 'Low Intensity Conflict and Modern Technology' (Lt. Col. David J. Dean, USAF, Editor), contained a chapter written by Capt. Paul Tyler that deals with electromagnetic, (so-called) non-lethal and psychotronic weapons. Because of the strong support for using the U.S. military against civilians (as clearly demonstrated by recent anti-terrorist legislation), this Air Force publication (and its relationship to HAARP) is very significant. Capt. Tyler stated: "The potential applications of artificial electromagnetic fields are wide-ranging and can be used in many military or quasi-military situations. ...Some of these potential uses include dealing with terrorist groups" (as currently defined by the Clinton administration), "crowd control, and...antipersonnel techniques in tactical warfare. In all cases, the electromagnetic systems would be used to produce mild to severe physiological disruption or perceptual distortion or disorientation" (psychotronic weapons application). "In addition, the ability of individuals to function could be degraded to such a point that they would be combat ineffective. Another advantage of electromagnetic systems is that they provide coverage over large areas with a single system"(disguised reference to projects like HAARP). "...One last area where electromagnetic radiation may prove of some value is enhancing abilities of individuals for anomalous phenomena", which appears to be a veiled reference to the Federal government's use of electromagnetic and psychotronic devices to create artificial UFO abductions amongst unwitting civilians. Such government-staged UFO encounters (not to be confused with the many real UFO events, such as the Roswell crash) are now being used a cover for widespread physical and psychological experimentation upon U.S. civilians. Viewzone, I know that I can't truly say whether or not these are true claims, but it is a little intimidating that I will grow up in a world that can obliterate a town, a city, a nation at a whim. These destructive powers are not for mankind to be able to push a button and make happen. The last time that happened, missiles and troops were in Cuba ready to attack at a moments notice. The good side to this technology is that it will continue towards the equality of all people and stop world suffering. By the time the military hands the patents back to Dr. Eastland, they will have done what they will have done with it by then. I'm not saying that ruining Sadams' plans are not on the good side of the bad, we're just not ready for such power at our finger tips.

I hope just one of the beneficial concepts comes to fruition. Thanks for the article.
