Changes in the wind... In July 2010 we changed the layout for the magazine. You'll notice the little graphic icons for some of the most read articles of each zone on the right of the main page. I thought this would be better on the eyes as too much text can get pretty boring. Almost immediately the daily logs showed an increased number of pages read. We will also be adding video to the site as we now have the bandwidth we need to do this thanks to "Susan in LA" (you know who you are!). You will notice that we took down the post that Catherine French sent to me, threatening to write a book based on my petroglyph research without giving me due credit. This was in retaliation of my support for Palestinian children who were killed and maimed by the Israelis in the recent Gaza holocaust. Enough of you wrote to offer your support -- most importantly the people who helped me do the initial research -- so it is fair to say that matter is settled. It's best to let racism and hatred self-destruct anyway. We're moving soon... In about 10 weeks, viewzone will be moving me to New Zealand for nine months. We will be working on something special that I can not talk about right now. We'll be stationed on the North Island, although our work will be taking us to the South Island where they filmed The Ring. We've been busy getting everything ready, making sure the internet connection is up and running and arranging for visas and official documents. It should be an exciting adventure that you will want to follow. NEW! eBooks... Speaking of "exciting adventures", I want to remind readers that the eBook "The Never Ending" is now available to download in both English and Spanish. The paperback version will also be out in Polish language and we are working on a German and French version. The adventure is a true story of viewzone's early years and our experience with the HAARP in Alaska, petroglyphs in Colorado and the archaeological site of the Queen of Sheba in Yemen. It now has actual photographs! We ask that you help viewzone by making a small donation of ten dollars through PayPal. Just a reminder that we will publish your free eBook on the site if you create one in pdf format. Try to keep the size under 5 MB. Send an e-mail if you are interested. It can be on any subject, real or fiction, and the usual guidelines regarding morality and adult material apply. When in doubt -- just ask us. This a good opportunity to get "published" and read by thousands of people all over the world and to receive feedback on your creative efforts. Also, if you have any suggestions for a story or would like to submit one, please contact me at myristicin-at-hotmail-dot-com. Thanks to everyone for your continued support of the web site. Your kind words and e-mails really keep us going when the going gets tough. Bless you all. Peace! Gary Vey / Editor |
