In America we have the right to express ourselves. It is called "free speech." Yet many editors are currently afraid to speak out when they see injustice because the source of this injustice comes from Israel.
There is an unspoken fear in the media that if one should criticize Israel, then one is automatically anti-Semitic. Yet, if one criticizes the terrible acts of Palestinian militants and their acts of terror with suicide bombings, such criticism is considered just.
All killing is wrong. It is my controversial view that it is wrong even in times of war. The sanctity of human life should never be violated for the sake of an idea, land or a political concept. But even more perverse than the deaths of soldiers and combatants, the death of innocent civilians, women and children is pure evil.
No, we haven't forgotten that the senseless and cruel suicide bombing also targets children. Here a stroller is all that remains of an attack in Israel which killed a one year old baby and her grandmother, whose crime was to stop and rest outside a coffee shop in Petah Tikva, near Tel Aviv. This is cruel and evil, as are these other images that you don't often see on American television.
While I am not taking sides in this presentation, my goal is to show you the other side of the conflict -- a side often not shown on American news. There is NO RIGHT side or politically correct reason for killing civilians. The failure of American media to show the suffering of innocent Palestinians gives a biased image and the public often are made to root for Israel like they were the "home team" at the "big game." In fact, BOTH sides deserve condemnation and I hope these images help you to understand that evil has no justification -- it is just wrong!
